Steel & Color: Experience, "Dinosaurs", Shockwave - Flash Movie Art Pages.

Our first, simultaneous external installation resulted 1991 as an art contribution for the environmental fair Neumuenster.
Under the title: Scrap iron sheet metal recycling
for the art,
we created the group of installation: progress.

Progress
The evolution of earth history: represented by the dinosaur as animal of country. The reptile as an amphibian animal and the flying prehistoric reptile as birds of air.
Then humans enter the world stage. A robot carry a suit-case full scrap iron: retired turbine blades, computer circuit boards, gears. Symbols of the industry and technical revolution of the Homo sapiens in the final hundred years.

Humans as machines, as destroyers or creators?
Dark visions of the future, or indicating, to concern jolt awake before we ourselves become these robots?

Works of art on an environmental fair?
smc Lueneburg. At first sight that may surprise. Not so, if the exhibits were made by scrap iron sheet metal recycling, as at the studio community
Steel & Color from Bardowick. Metal sculptor Henning Block and painter Sylvia Aevermann use predominantly industrial wastes and retired machine parts for impressing objects, like a flying prehistoric reptile with a wing span of 4.5 meters.

The branch receive on that all sit
pb Lueneburg. Prehistoric natures from rusty steel welcome the visitors on the Suelzwiesen. Before the monsters an iron shape promenade, in the hand document-suitcase full garbage. The two Bardowicker artist Henning Block and Sylvia Aevermann, their creation baptized "progress".

At the sight of the sheet metal comrades sneak up to some the fear, that by the progressing environmental degradation a similar fate could overtake humans as the dinosaurs.
Scrap iron recycling as art wanted to wake like the remaining supply of the 5.Lueneburger environmental fair, the readiness to do even something for the receipt of the branch, on which all sit.

Flying prehistoric carnivorous reptile Pteranodon - flight dinosaurs 228-65 million years ago, with a wing span up to 12 meters.

1997.

On the Festival total of the city Uelzen, (Internal message set art and cultural), at the 30.August.1997, the dinosaur was painted with plant colors as an art performance by the guests of the festival.

To our further space installations belong:
Octagons, (oktaeder, "diamonds")
and the performance acid light show.

2008

Picture series of steel sculpture exhibit in the park Suderburg with the friendly support of the company Warnke Marketing.
