Apart from the resulted love for the iron plastic,
I remained connected to painting in my life. Always experimenting provokes me
also to attempt
most diverse techniques, mark reasons and style directions.
In the years of my self-instruction I experienced something of different
art trends, but can´t assign my pictures to any single one.
At exhibitions my partner and I often asked "how many" painters are
involved in it.
I´m not sure whether I am happy that the pictures
seem so diverse or sad that it´s not clear the work is produced of one
imagination.

Under oil paintings, I summarized different works, from different times.



I´ll start by talking about my roots the
unspent "wildness" of my first pictures.
The Medusa and
Unconscious cry belong to my "early work".
In former times I often asked myself the question: "Who protects
the art against the artist?" As if I had destroyed a picture hastily
and were later sad over it.
But since once militant "art critics" pushed into my studio
and helped me solve the difficult question of: "What" is art
and "Who" is an artist?, by the destruction of the pictures,
which where´t on exhibitions, or with friends, I ask myself, if I can
achieve the expression again, which excited the minds in such a way.
Now one good thing had it also for itself. Since that time I destroy
a picture only in extreme cases, if it makes me furious! - And I don´t
ask myself whether it is Art, but: When?
The only unfortunate thing is, I have no video movie of it.

Since the establishment of the studio community,
art criticisms of such type no longer occurred.
The grotto is made (for my mode of operation in private intention otherwise
uncommonly), after a sketch.

I think it is the function of the artist to create
mental concepts, chains of association, and to ask questions. Most of all
to ask questions. To find out how the world is constituted. To ask questions
- not: to give conditioned answers. Does the world to end, where my horizon
is?

I think it is the function of artists to place EVERYTHING
in question. Explaining questions: what still hides behind: behind this all.
Because as long as nobody can prove the opposite, there could still be another
possibilities, which were not possibly even considered.

Whether it is now impressionistic expressionism,
monotheistic Surrealism, abstract Concretism. (Is muss sein. is muse sein. is
muse in. is muse sinn! Play on words.) Is must be. is muse been. is muse in.
is muse sense! Perhaps artists use also their pictures as thought supports,
so that they note, to remind, about what they already thought.
What says a painter about her own pictures? Correctly, interpretations.
Oh all dear words. Words, definitions. Words to be understood, interpreted,
celebrated or corrupted - definitions, definitely, finite.


If we are all, everyone for itself, the sum of what
we have learnt, experienced, done and thought. The result of the interpretation
of the whole, then must be a painter, the result of all of her pictures.


Every other page this Steel and Color online exhibition
is finished and I´ve saved this chapter about pictures until the end.
Because it´s difficult? What does an artist write about her own pictures.
If I don´t write you can still hear me. Can´t you? What words can
I use to describe my own art?



If everyone of us is an integral part of
a gigantic holographic memory, everyone of us contains the information of the
whole one.
I mean, what I have expressed you can see here. Instead I would like to explain
you the act of painting itself.

Now, i.e. if you can read this here, the present
moment already is past. (As when yesterday was still the day after tomorrow.)
Now I want to describe the act of painting like opening a window into
time. Painting is like opening a time window.



To dive into a country, beyond all imaginative
power. If the picture is finished, it is like being awakened from a dream.


But the time-window exists. To open and enable to
return at any time ready there.
It is nevertheless a question whether we trample spiders, or study its beauty.


The opposite of that to miss something. Naturally the older
the time windows, the more expensive.

Perhaps in view of the fee, I speak for all artists
of compensation. How highly, does the total have to be, so that the artist
can overcome the pain?
Pain threshold falls and rises, depending upon social need.

If it something, as collective a consciousness
exists, you can with your eyes by my pictures, perhaps see or experienced something
- a time window open, there, where the other world of all words is.


Is painting nevertheless like diving, where beyond all words
is.
Where a word is the first test of an interpretation.
Thinking concepts, which we would force upon life.



Interlaced in the attempt to create complex systems,
systems of thought. And thus we are always more near to the chaos than we thought.


The more complex a system is, the more large
is the probability that something goes wrong.

If there is something like collective subconscious,
it is important, that some humans do nothing. Don´t do, in order to adjust
the flux of all things. Which does not make anything does. NOT DOING, in order
to compensate the flux of all things. To compensate the morphogenetic boxes
of the collective subconscious by the pole of the standstill. Time window -
Are they not in the end all fractals, who belongs to a gigantic puzzle. Which
we do not know yet, or understand.

The art is a supplement to reality. New aspects.
A modification of the view. Changing seeing. Naturally we can call art also
interporallappshyperactivity or the test to free itself from the internal pictures.


Free themselves from any dependencies and opinions.
To release even from the own opinion.



To transform the volatile time into a window. To transform
the fleeing moment into something solid.



Art is collected time.
Time is the most precious property, which humans can become conscious of.


If Art means knowledge and understanding, and if
time is essential for the creation of Art, then you will know and understand
something about collected time.


It concerns not an aesthetic final product,
but the working process, or, in the sense of the view, around the thought process,
itself.
Unless, you regard a picture as being beyond all words, you exclude certain
chains of association.


Seize the intellect by the collar and regarded the
picture, like from an ISO tank, as physical, sensually experience.
The current of the life does not belong to me, I flow with it.

Just as I was convinced that I couldn´t
achieve anything new in the medium of painting, my cooperation with Henning
introduced me to the third dimension and offered me new possibilities with painting.
The new space experience with the plastic work lead me again back to
image area and to innumerable combination option with it.



It pushes to push artists to the boundaries of
the feasible, win the maximum of force of expression in order to arrive as near
as possible at the form visions.
Although we emerged as own bosses as pity-less slave drivers, our plurals
coexistence promised an expansion in each direction. A flare of hope. A circle
closed.

As a picture is a time window, then the iron plastic
is manifested energy, bounded force.
With for steel moulds large dramatics is appropriate in the working process
itself. The handling with glowing pieces steel is temporally limited, the matter
cool down rapidly and becomes slow-acting. A miss can destroy the conception.



In the working process are the creative moments,
which contain experimentation possibilities. The working process is spontaneous
and associative. To forge is touch, like a love affair.


Hammer message force compresses. The internal
physiognomy of the things sense and as medium hidden to make visible.
If it would mean for me to define Henning´s relationship with the
iron, then I would have to speak of a love affair, fiery-hot, ambivalent and
insatiable.


Hold with objects eye language, direct artistic intentions.

discharged, abandoned, and protest-loaded relics, to supply to a new regulation.
Make themselves the servile tools of an iron will. To make self to the executing

That is a part of the art.
Thought work does not originate in the vacuum
= art - product: A collide of the powers of intellect²and conversion².
Products of the Industries are tied, repeatable, one can them quantify
and their success measure at the gain.
The work of art removes itself from this standard. It is unique
and from the personal world of the artist, from his abilities produced and arranged.
It requires only the boundless and complete devotion of his personality for
his doing.

Art ["knowledge, understanding", to
