timer and sport wagons, in order to then discover 1988 his actual
appointment to the iron former and metal sculptor.
Among his first work filigree wire-and steel sheet things,
anatomical deadheadīs, mobile flying prehistoric reptiles and a steel dragon.

Studio community Steel & Color
When Henning and I should meet us 1991, none of us probably
suspected both that this meeting meant the
foundation-stone for a future, cooperation of many years. To this period I had relocate from the city on the country, work even on a farm building, which I wanted to re-design into a studio, as some musician friends asked me to organize with them a performance in the Lueneburger community centre.
I assured naturally directly. The gigantic canvas on the
stage to fix prepared problems and one of the musician knew " the correct
man " for the recovery of the problem.
The problem recovered I myself, (....but artistīs
fate was ordered).
Thus Henning and I became acquainted with us. We were us at
first attempt sympathy liking, not least, because we own work rage and
researcher greed in the other detected and surprised it stated that we
rank both among the kind of the autodidacts.
Both we had made similar experiences, how much courage and
staying power the step to the free artist-living require, or how wearing down the continuous confrontation with people on all levels is, which
even opposite of the autodidactic/self taught Art, skeptically, ignorantly or rejecting stands.
Henning lived and operated at present in an old farm building,
in whose cellar he had created small smithy and work benches. One
could not be in it upright, but approximately around the clock "
make noise ".
Alreadyafter a few together worked
days in evenly this cellar, in which many different work samples
developed, an enormous potential of the combination options revealed
itself to us.
We decided "to fuse" and created the studio community Stahl &
Farbe/ Steel & Color.
